On The Go
Transforming boring commutes into cinematic adventures
Just in time for the holiday travel season, we partnered with Amazon Music to launch a campaign that flips the script, transforming tedious journeys into captivating adventures.
Our hero film, “On The Go,” reimagines the all-too-familiar experience of whiling away hours at the airport, listening to music or audiobooks to pass the time. But this time, it’s different. With Amazon Music Unlimited’s offering with Audible, we take our audience deep into the emotional connections we forge with stories – whether through music, audiobooks, or podcasts. Audiobooks serve as a gateway for users to discover new fandoms, genres, and perspectives, keeping travelers engaged wherever they are.
Set in an airport, the 30-second noir-inspired film is a “whodunnit’” crime thriller adventure, highlighting a motley cast of mischievously charming characters that turn killing time into a thrilling time. Directed by Lance Oppenheim and scored by his musical collaborator Ari Bazoulian, the film shows punchy, cinematic-quality storytelling that appeals to all the savvy, content-hungry listeners eager to escape the boredom of their journeys.
As well as running across social and streaming platforms, the campaign included tongue-in-cheek digital out-of-home placements across the US, Canada and the UK, catching travellers on the go at bus and train stations, key street locations, and at major US airports such as JFK and LAX.
