Let’s Get to Work
Championing Britain's real small business owners
In order to champion Britain’s small businesses and underscore Facebook’s contribution to the UK’s small business economy, we created ‘Let’s Get to Work’ – an integrated campaign revealed through a 60-second film, featuring VO by renown actor Kit Harington.
At a time when the UK faced economic uncertainty, the campaign invited small businesses to meet and stay connected with even more customers around the world.
Championing Britain’s small businesses and underscoring Facebook’s contribution to the UK small business economy
Running across TV, outdoor, print, online, in cinema and on platform, ‘Let’s Get to Work’ told the stories of fascinating and successful small businesses from across the UK, highlighting the diversity and depth of Britain’s small business landscape. Every business featured in the campaign was also profiled on a dedicated microsite detailing how they used Facebook to build a community or scale their business.
Featured businesses included Repton Boxing Club, the UK’s oldest boxing club that brings local kids together with world renowned fighters. Huit Denim, which is building a premium global jeans brand and reviving the denim industry in Cardigan, Wales. And Charlotte’s Butchery, an independent butcher run by Charlotte Mitchell, who uses social media to stand out in a male dominated industry.
